What is Blurt?

This mind map below  defines blurt, basically stating how I would define the meaning to blurt as well as finding out the google dictionary definition to Blurt and finally to accompany, are words I would associated with Blurt.

I created this mind map to gather a better understanding to the word Blurt, seeing as this section of Unit 3 is associated with the word Blurt. I figured that it would be good to research the meaning to Blurt to help me progress with this section of this project.

Mind Map, Blurt

The mind map is a very rough way to show the meaning to blurt, but I can extend the notes on the mind map.
For me to gather understanding of the word Blurt first and foremodt, I looked for a definition to Blurt on google, which is as follows: "Blurt, is to say something suddenly, without any careful consideration. ie- She blurted out the truth!"
I would define Blurt a similar way to the google's definition,  in this sense, I would say: Blurt is to say something without thinking, this could be saying something that could perhaps come across as offensive to other people, as in it could be an insult, or just a generic meaning to Blurt could be to just say something out of the blue without a second thought.
If it helps I have also listed on this brainstorm other words that mean the same thing as Blurt such as the following;
